A: Click on the 'Forgot Password / Username?'. and your password will be emailed to you, at the email address you provided during registration.

Q: How do I update my Profile?
A: Log in to your hireyourintern.com account. Then select My Profile on the right tab and select the tab you want to change..

Q: Will my contact information be sold to any third parties?
A: Your information will be shared with our third party customers in order for them to contact you in regards to openings. Please look at the privacy policy for more information.

Q: Why should I create a Profile?
A: By creating a profile you give employers a basic idea of what your skill set is and also helps the, decide which posts you would be most applicable for.

Q: Can I use my Employer username and password for my Seeker account?
A: These are two separate accounts and you cannot use the same account.

Q: What should I do if I do not recieve an email for account validation?
A: The email will most likely be in your spam folder, please check in the spam folder.

Q: Does my account expire?
A: Your account has no expiration.

Resume

Q: How do I create and post a resume on hireyourintern.com?
A: You can post a resume in either txt, doc or pdf format , by uploading it during profile updation or account creation.

Q: How do I add more information to my resume?
A: You can upload a new resume using the edit profile upload resume.

Q: How can I change the contact information on my resume?
A: You can edit the contact info tab provided under the edit profile tab.

Q: Who will see my resume?
A: Your resume will be seen by employers in order to see whether you fit the profile requirements.

Q: What if I can't find the company I'm looking for?
A: Our search is highly efficient , however make sure that you spell the company name correctly.

Q: Is there a preferred format for uploading the resume ?
A: There are three supported formats txt, doc and pdf , there is no preferred format.

Internship Search

Q: How do I search for jobs on hireyourintern.com?
A: You can search all jobs by clicking on the search tab, you can also filter based on the area of interest.

Q: How can I get more-focused search results?
A: Please enter valid key terms specific to the area of interests.

Q: Why isn't salary information available for all jobs?
A:Salary information is provided only for some jobs and it is the sole discretion of the employer.

Q: Does hireyourintern.com ensure that job postings are from reputable companies?
A: We try to ensure that only companies with genuine postings are elligible for signup. We monitor employer accounts and try to block spamming or fraudlent employers.

Q: What happens when I apply online for a job that's posted on hireyourintern.com?
A: Employers receive your resume and cover letter (if you included one) through a message. They will be pointed to your profile and see whether you are applicable for a postion.

Q: Do I need a resume to apply to a job posting?
A: Yes, a resume is required to apply for a job posting.

Q: Why should I create a cover letter?
A: A cover letter lets you call attention to your unique skills or an unusual job history. You can also emphasize your work experience more concisely in a cover letter.

Q: Why didn't I receive a response when I applied online?
A: Hireyourintern.com does not play a role, it depends upon how the company evaluates your profile.

Q: How can I track the jobs I've applied for?
A: Under dash board there is link which shows the status of all your applied jobs.

Q: Can I apply for the same job more than once?
A: No. Once you've applied for a job, you won't be able to apply for that job again.

Q: What is Apply Status?
A: This tells you whether you have been rejected or have been accepted for the job also.Whether you have been called for an interview.

Q: How can I find jobs for a specific industry, like management or Mechanical?
A: You can click on the categories on the front page and you will get the results specific to that searhc criteria.
